Choosing Cheaper Cables as opposed to premium ones

Cheaper cables comparison
When factoring in the price for a home theater set, many people will obviously account for the TV, the Blu-ray player, a speaker set and a receiver. If you're a little more into it there may also be an Xbox or a PS3 involved in the whole thing but suffice to say that the overall costs will be those devices added together. You are forgetting one cruicial product though, that is the cables that will connect all those devices together.
I know from personal experience that the price of cables can fluctuate greatly depending on how you want to approach the issue so here is a little advice to hopefully help you out and enable you to avoid the mistakes I made. In one short sentence; unless you like spending money for the sake of spending money, stick to cheap cables and connectors because you will NOT notice any difference in quality. When I bought my first home entertainment system, I was upsold by the salesman sprouting off facts about how performance is enhanced with higher quality cables and what not.
A few years later, I accidentally broke one of these premium cables unplugging it so I went back to the store only to find that now there are cables running the gamut from one to several hundred dollars. This time around I shopped around online and opted for a cheaper cable and I was astounded at the difference... ABSOLUTELY NONE!
