The Return of the Classic Games
63
A Sequel Gone Right
In every good movie, the people expect a sequel. The 1984 classic Ghostbusters had two of them (I hear there is also another on the way). Columbia Pictures recognized the success of the first one, and catered to the market. The gaming industry is not so different in their strategy. But ultimately, it is always up to the consumer. A powerful movement is happening. Fueled by nostalgia and lack of decent content filled games, the consumer is moving back in time. The sequel (or round two) of classic gaming has arrived.
The advancement in technology, and realism, is a facet to remark at. Though, all the fluff in the world cannot soften a bed nails. Searches for classic games are through the roof. Who blames them? Some of my favorite childhood moments were behind those classic consoles. I would spend endless hours mastering the levels in Nintendo 64's Golden Eye, just to unlock certain things. Who can forget about the epic campaign Super Mario Bro's held for Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) addicts. What ever your posion is, there are still ways to get back into them
The internet seems to be the obvious choice for shopping these days. People finding exactly what their looking for, not limited by availability. They also save at least 10% of there purchase, even outside of those insane deals that come around often. So it is no wonder that people are looking here to buy classic games too. The selection blew me away. I could find every era, and every game, for every console! Even better than that, the used selection made it wallet friendly.
People, left and right, are hanging up their weird curvy controllers and finding the classics they love. In this instance, I'm proud to be stuck in the past.

The past, present and future of gaming will never cease to amaze me. Games are time traveling, alternate reality entering entities of technology. Up/awesome
